Participation in Wasted, a project by Tomoko Mukaiyama

Wasted is an installation with a labyrinth of 12.000 white silk dresses. It is also a multimedia concert and a chance for women worldwide to participate in this art project.

The project by pianist and visual artist Tomoko Mukaiyama will have its Dutch premiere on the 26th March 2010 at SCHUNCK* in Heerlen (Limburg). In December 2009, it travelled to Cemeti Art House in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, where it was successfully received.

Katerina Valdivia Bruch participated in the project in Yogyakarta. Her feedback to the project was in the form of a video and photographs. Part of her video, waste I and II, will be presented during Tomoko Mukaiyama's concert in The Netherlands.
